»Educate Yourself

• Learn more about juvenile diabetes and the search for a cure, and read about women and diabetes .
• Find out more about diabetes and the varying forms it takes.

»Inform Others

• Invite an expert from your local JDRF chapter to speak to your club about juvenile diabetes and ways you can be involved in a cure.
• Create an educational program on the different kinds of diabetes and educate your community on ways to decrease risk for type 2 diabetes.

»Create Change

• Put your club at the head of the pack during the next Walk/Ride for the Cure—start a team and schedule training exercises together; select a group fundraising goal and work together to raise money and awareness.
• Observe November as American Diabetes Month and November 14 as World Diabetes Day.
