GFWC - Guidelines for Reporting Online
Guidelines for Reporting Online
We are excited to offer GFWC clubs the opportunity to report online during the 2008 reporting period. This new online capability comes directly from your requests to make the reporting process easier and more efficient, and we're thrilled to make this available.
PREPARING TO REPORT ONLINE
GFWC's online reporting tool is designed to be easy and user friendly. To lead you through the process, we make the following recommendations:
- Complete your report first using the GFWC Report Form included in your club manual or available for download on GFWC's website at www.GFWC.org/ReportingGuidelines. It will be faster to complete the online report if you are transcribing directly from a written document.
- If you will be including narratives in your reports, we recommend that you create these narratives in the word processing software of your choice (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, Word Perfect, etc.) so that you may copy and paste individual narratives into the online report form.
- You may choose to pause the reporting process and save your work at any time. You will be prompted to enter your e-mail address and enter a password that will enable you to access your saved work when you return to the online reporting tool. Please select a password that is easy to remember and write it in a place that you can reference.
- In several sections of the report, you are asked for numbers of projects, volunteers, and hours spent. Please be precise in your numbers and do not include text within the blanks for the numbers. Including characters other than numbers can lead to errors in processing.
