GFWC - Publications
Publications
GFWC has a robust Publications Department that produces high quality communications for all audiences. The highlight of our publications is the GFWC Clubwoman, our bi-monthly glossy magazine with more than 10,000 subscribers who are the first to receive feature stories on GFWC clubs, programs, and projects.
In addition to GFWC Clubwoman, our publications department issues bulletins and newsletters from each of our functional departments.
- e-GFWC is an electronic newsletter from the International President that keeps you updated on the latest news from Headquarters. Each newsletter includes the latest information on GFWC programs of work. e-GFWC is published every other Thursday.
- An interactive network that advances and supports GFWC’s impact on national policy, LegNet creates a communication and advocacy link between Congress and GFWC members. Participation includes letter writing, telephone calls, visiting legislators, community events, or local coalition building. Advocacy communication educates members on national policy issues and facilitates grassroots activism. LegNet updates are available by email only, and are edited by Ardie Hollifield, GFWC Public Policy Director.
- Membership recruiting and retention techniques are featured in the quarterly newsletter Membership Matters, along with successful membership strategies and GFWC membership-specific information. Edited by Debbe Gladstone, GFWC Membership Director. Currently published in hard copy, Membership Matters will soon be available by email as well.
- Featuring PR success stories from clubs that are garnering great media attention, as well as insight from PR professionals across the country who can lend their expertise to our publicity efforts, the PR TIPS newsletter helps identify and answer the most frequently asked questions about PR for GFWC.
