GFWC International President Jacquelyn Pierce pressed the button that brought the new GFWC website live at the 2007 Board of Directors Meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
Dear Friends:
Welcome to our new home on the Internet! We are delighted to share with you the updated face of www.gfwc.org, which is the result of many months of hard work by GFWC members and staff.
In response to changes in technology, the growth of our program reach, and new challenges for an organization with such diverse constituents, GFWC has invested in a more powerful online presence to help meet the needs of the more than 100,000 members in more than 4,000 clubs, who are working in their own communities to enhance the lives of others through volunteer community service. The new site is intuitive and easy to navigate, and includes capabilities that will make it easier for members and friends to use.
In the coming weeks, we will introduce more new features, additional technologies, and even more powerful content. I hope you enjoy the fresh look and feel of the new site, and that you return often to keep up with what's going on at GFWC.
