Community Connections
GFWC incorporated the Honorary Chairmen Program to bring experts in the field to our club members, enhancing and elevating our scope of volunteer work while assisting and advancing the administration’s goals. They are selected through recommendations from members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
Over the recent administrations, we have been privileged to secure Honorary Chairmen in our Special Programs (Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention, and Advocates for Children) and Community Service Programs (CSP) areas (Arts and Culture, Civic Engagement and Outreach, Education and Libraries, Environment, and Health and Wellness), and Advancement areas (Leadership, Membership, and Communications and Public Relations) who share their expert knowlege and skills with members.
Our Honorary Chairmen, with their expertise and decades of experience, are not just specialists and authorities in their fields. Their collaboration directly aligns with our volunteer program areas and significantly contributes to our mission of community improvement.
